Linking up with Fountains of Home who has beautiful babies and beautiful glasses. Two of my favorite things, but not on this list (for now!)
My grandma died unexpectedly two nights ago and it's been really hard to be here in Pittsburgh while my family is in Nebraska and my dad is in Ohio with his brothers. Thankfully I'll be driving out to Ohio on Saturday to see my family. My team has been beyond kind with all of my feelings (which, dealing with emotions is not their favorite thing) and my friends have been so sweet and thoughtful.
If you could offer up prayers for the repose of the soul of Joan I would very much appreciate it. She was a wonderful mother of three (ornery) boys who are all married with beautiful children. She led her late husband to Jesus and the Church, she always hosted a wonderful Thanksgiving meal and she read every post from Hannah and my's blog, twocatholicgirls.
Eternal Rest grant unto her, O Lord, and may perpetual Light shine upon her. May the souls of the faithfully departed, through the Mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

I'm a sucker for pale blues and greys, white font, and a little Scripture. Hopefully this five favorites won't bum you all out, but I think it's so vital to remember that Jesus took on the fullness of humanity including our beautiful and messy emotions. He wept when He heard that Lazarus had died. Did He know the part Lazarus would play in His mission? Did He know that He would raise Lazarus from the dead?
It has snowed every day in Pittsburgh since I moved here. Every. Day. I love snow. On one snow day in NE, I climbed a giant mound of snow and announced that I was the Queen of Snow.
Clearly, I love snow. But I also love rain and I love that the weather has mixed it up a little bit.
4. My friends
I have amazing friends. They pray for me, they send me mail, they support me in this mission (prayerfully and financially), they text me hilarious things, and sometimes they mail me a pillowcase with Nic Cage's face on it.
You, you beautiful reader, who ever you are. You're my favorite because I'm glad that you are hear and sharing in my life. I don't (always) know who you are or what is going in your life, but be assured of my prayers.
Head over to Fountains of Home to check out more favs? Don't mind if I diddily doo!
